Kininmonth is a small, welcoming school located just north of Mintlaw, along the A92 Aberdeen to Fraserburgh road. We serve the village of New Leeds and the surrounding rural area, with most of our 23 pupils travelling by bus or car from 20 local families.
Built in 1876 and extended in 2005 to include a library and office area, we are blessed with spacious outdoor facilities, including a tarmac play area, wildlife garden, quiet seating, and a large field with play equipment and a football pitch.
As a non-denominational school, we pride ourselves on fostering a close-knit, family-like atmosphere. Parents play an active role in our community through the Parent Council, which helps organise events and activities for the school.
